I understand that I must obtain a Global Wind Organization Basic Safety Training Certification prior to being referred for work. * This field is required.The UBC will coordinate opportunities for obtaining GWO certification at no cost to you. Workers will receive a stipend for the one-week training. Additionally, workers who are then hired on an offshore wind construction site will receive hourly wages for the time spent in training. Workers who have obtained GWO certification in the last 12 months MAY be exempt from the full training.
